BY AIR:  Albuquerque airport is the main access by air, although it is possible to fly into Santa Fe from Denver or Phoenix.  Before traveling, if you do not intend to rent a car, you will need to make a reservation on one of the ground shuttles from thee Albuquerque airport to Santa Fe.  The Shuttle companies and their phone numbers are listed below.  Please ask to be taken to the Inn of Santa Fe.  On arrival, you will be collected by an Abbey vehicle.  It is essential that you inform the Guest Office at least  2 days in advance of your time of arrival.  From Albuquerque to Santa Fe, shuttles take (depending on traffic) about an hour.  The cost for the Sandia Shuttle is $25.00 one way, $45.00 round-trip with a prepaid credit card.  We ask for a donation of $20.00 each way between Santa Fe and the Monastery.

CANCELLATIONS:  Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the scheduled retreat will receive a full refund of the deposit.  Cancellations received less than 30 days in advance of the scheduled retreat will not receive a refund; however, the deposit may be applied to a future retreat within one calendar year from the date of cancellation.

MISCELLANEOUS:  Please bring an alarm clock.  Warm clothing is always a good idea, as we are at 7000 feet.  There may be snow in the winter and even summer evenings are cool.  Walking or hiking shoes, notebook, pen, and a Bible are recommended.  Because of the high altitude, there is less oxygen in the air.  If you have medical conditions that may be affected by this, please check with your doctor before coming.  Please dress appropriately and modestly.  Refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages onto the Monastic property.  There is no smoking inside the buildings and no pets are allowed.

OFFICE HOURS:     The Guest Office is open 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.  The Reservations Office is open 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.   Phone for both is 505-757-6415 X 266.  E-mail address is guestmaster@pecosmonastery.org.   Please, be patient with us and leave a voice mail or e-mail when necessary.  Phone calls and e-mails are returned as soon as possible, in the order received, but may not be returned within a 24-hour period.
