Private Retreats
Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey is a monastery with private rooms, hermitages and retreat facilities for individuals and groups. Retreatants may participate in our prayer life but are not required to do so. Our retreat facilities include:
- Simply appointed comfortable rooms
- Hermitages with simple kitchen facilities
- Monastic chapel, always open to retreatants
- 1000 acres of mountain property with Pecos Riverfront and Monastery Lake
- Auditorium and meeting rooms.
Retreatants and guests are welcome to join the community at all services.
We do require a minimum two night stay. When we have groups staying with us we might not be able to accommodate private retreatants in a guest room. A Hermitages would be the option.
Are you looking for an individual retreat? We are offering a Wednesday night – Sunday morning stay with all meals beginning on Wednesday evening with supper, concluding with breakfast on Sunday. You are welcome to stay for additional nights but we are only able to offer breakfasts each day, other meals on your own. Our meals are simple but satisfying…according to our guests. The Abbot is our cook and will do his best to accommodate your needs.
Our rate is very reasonable at $75.00 per night per person/all meals. Rooms are simply furnished and have private bathrooms. We also have hermitages for $110.00 per night/all meals. Please contact the reservations office to book your retreat from the world!
